About Bendev Junior

The Journey

Benedito Manoel da Silva Júnior — better known as Bendev Junior — was born on October 20, 1998, in Poconé (MT), Brazil. Since childhood, he showed a deep curiosity for technology: taking apart devices at home, exploring games, and seeking to understand how things work.

He started out as a mechanic, but it was in the world of software development that he found his true calling. In 2013, still without formal experience, he was invited to join a development company as a Java programmer — a turning point in his career.

Soon after, he co-founded "Line Up" in 2015, where he single-handedly led system development, embodying the entrepreneurial spirit that marks his journey.

As a self-taught programmer, Bendev embraced the idea of "turning code into dreams" — not just building apps, but creating solutions that positively impact people's lives. In 2022, he released the book "Transforming Code into Dreams", sharing his experience with those starting in technology.

He then published his second book, "Unveiling the Code: The Magical Journey of JavaScript for Beginners", focused on making code accessible and inspiring to new learners.

In parallel with technology, Bendev is passionate about martial arts — a practice he adopted as a life philosophy. Judo, jiu-jitsu, and more recently karate have become an integral part of his routine in pursuit of balance, focus, and health.

He believes that an active body and mind reinforce each other — and that a disciplined programmer grows both on the mat and at the keyboard.

Entrepreneur, author, athlete, and digital creator, Bendev also works with artificial intelligence, nutrition, and digital health, seeking to connect technology and well-being in innovative ways. Today, he lives with a clear mission: bring martial arts discipline to programming and everyday life, combining technical precision, creativity, and human purpose to evolve with focus, learn through movement, and create with impact.
